Each insulated Crowbar that STEL manufactures is tested to the BS8020 standard. The insulated Crowbar is manufactured from a strong solid fibreglass shaft providing strength exceeding that of hickory. We guarantee that each insulated Crowbar will protect the user to 1000 volts although as part of the BS8020 specification, we flash test the Crowbar to 10000 volts.
